Routing rules are the main elements in the FIXEdge configuration. They contain FIXEdge instructions for:

  • Routing of incoming and outgoing FIX messages (via the correspondence between ClientID and FIX Session).
  • Filtering of incoming and outgoing FIX messages.
  • Transformation of incoming and outgoing FIX messages

The business rules XML configuration is stored in the FIXICC H2 database.

Updating the Business Layer Configuration

To make some changes in the existing Business Rules configuration, you should go to the "Configurations" icon on the sidebar (the "1" label in the figure below).

When you open the "Configurations" section, you should click the "Servers" menu item (the "2" label in the figure below).

To see the list of added server configurations you should click the "Show all servers" (the "3" label in the figure below) and select the server name from the table.

Then select the "Business Rules" item from the "Configurations" (the "4" label in the figure below).

Reset to default BL configuration

You have the ability to start a business rules configuration from the very beginning.

You should pass to the "Servers" page, select the server name, and open the existing business rule configuration by clicking the "Business rules" item from the "Configurations" menu.
