Scheduled Tasks

This section allows for managing the application tasks.

We kindly suggest you configuring the scheduled task for removing notifications from the database.

To create a scheduled task, you should click the "Create" button.

FIXICC H2 opens the "Schedule Task" page as you can see below:

To create a new scheduled task for removing notifications from the database, you should specify the following parameters:

  1. "Defined by" - you should set the "Bean" option;
  2. "Bean Name" - you should choose from the list "fixicch2_TasksService";
  3. "Method Name" - you can choose the intended method: clearNotificationsOlderThan(StringDays) - method to remove all notification older than the selected date;  or clearNotificationsMoreThan(String CountOfNotification) - method to remove all notification over than the specified amount;
  4. "Method Parameters" - you can specify the parameters related to the chosen method. You can specify the String days - number of days to store the notification in the database (for the clearNotificationsOlderThan method); or String countOfNotification - number of notifications to store in the database (for clearNotificationsMoreThan method);
  5. "Scheduling Type" - you should specify the intended schedule type to start the task (Cron/Period/FIxed Delay);
  6. "Cron Expression" for "Cron" scheduling type/ "Period, sec" for "Period" and "Fixed Delay" scheduling type;
  7. "?" - you can find the tip for the CRON Expression

When you specified all intended parameter, you should click one of the following buttons:

the "OK" button to complete the creation of the task

in this case, FIXICC H2 will add a new scheduled task and show one on the "Scheduled Tasks" page;

the "Cancel" button to cancel the adding of a new scheduled task

in this case, FIXICC H2 will cancel adding of a new scheduled task and show the "Scheduled Tasks" page without changes.

When the scheduled task for removing notifications from the database is added to the list, you should select it and activate it by clicking the "Activate" button.

If you want to stop the execution of the activated scheduled task, you should select the task and click the "Deactivate" button:

For activated scheduled tasks the following operations are enabled:

  • "Execution history"
  • "Deactivate"

For deactivated scheduled tasks the following operations are enabled:

  • "Activate",
  • "Edit";
  • "Remove";
  • "Execution history";
  • "Execute"

Always enabled operations:

  • "Create";
  • "Running tasks"

Restore deleted entities

The section allows managing the soft-deleted records.

Entity Inspector

The section allows the managing of the application entities.

This section allows for configuring specific application parameters.

Server Log

The section contains the application log information.

You can:

  • view the selected log by clicking the "Show Tail" button ("2" label in the figure below).
  • or download the selected log file by clicking the "Download" button ("1" label in the figure below).

As well, you have the ability to filter log info in the "Options" subtab ("3" label in the figure below).

Performance Statistics

This section contains the application-related statistic.

You can export data into an excel file by clicking the "Excel" button ("1" label in the figure below).
