Schedules configuration

The FIXICC H2 allows configuring a schedule for one or more sessions.

A session will start and stop a connection according to the configured schedule.

You can pass to the "Server Schedules" page by clicking the "View Schedules" button on the "Server Sessions" page.

Adding a new schedule

You have the ability to add a new schedule.

You should pass to the "Server Schedules" page.

To add a new schedule, you should:

  • Click the "Create" button in the panel (the "1" label in the figure above);
  • Or click the "Create" context menu item (the "2" label in the figure above);
  • Or press the "Ctrl" + "\" keys.

The FIXICC H2 opens the "New schedule" page:

The schedule "Start Time" and "Terminate Time" parameters follow the time format (HH:MM(:SS)) or CRON expression format.

At least one of the parameters "Start Time" or "Terminate Time" should be specified.

The "Schedule Name" is a mandatory parameter.

You have the ability to configure reset sequence numbers of the sessions bound with the current schedule:

  • you should check the "Reset sequence numbers on start" checkbox to reset sequence numbers when the sessions bound with the schedule start.


After you specified all details, you have the following options:

  • Save a schedule configuration by clicking the "OK" button.

If the Schedule Name is unique and at least one of the Start or Terminate Time parameters is specified, then the FIXICC H2 displays the schedules table including a new schedule configuration.

In case the schedule name is not unique,

the FIXICC H2 displays the warning form with the message "Schedule with this name already exists".

When you click the "X" button,

the FIXICC H2 displays the initial page again to change the schedule name.

If the Schedule Name is empty, then the alert form is shown:

After the alert form is hidden, the FIXICC H2 displays the initial page again to fill the mandatory parameters.

  • Cancel the operation by clicking the "Cancel" button.

Then the FIXICC H2 displays the schedules table without changes;

  • Leave the page. In case you edited the schedule parameters, the FIXICC H2 displays the warning form.

The FIXICC H2 offers the following options:

º Save the entered values as a new schedule configuration.

Then the FIXICC H2 displays the schedules table, including a new schedule configuration.

Note: You should complete the schedule mandatory parameters to save a schedule configuration, incomplete configuration can't be saved.

º Skip the changes by clicking the "Don't save" button.

A new schedule configuration won't be added. The FIXICC H2 displays the schedules table without changes;

º Stay on the "New schedule " page by clicking the "Cancel" button.

The FIXICC H2 displays the initial page to continue the editing.

Modifying the existing schedule

You have the ability to edit the existing schedule configuration.

You should select the schedule from the schedules list configured for the server.

To modify the selected schedule, you should:

  • Click the "Edit" button in the panel (the "1" label in the figure above);
  • Or click the "Edit" context menu item (the "2" label in the figure above);
  • Or press the "Ctrl" + "E" keys.

The FIXICC H2 opens the "Modify schedule" page:

The schedule "Start Time" and "Terminate Time" parameters follow the time format (HH:MM(:SS)) or CRON expression format.

At least one of the parameters "Start Time" or "Terminate Time" should be specified.

The "Schedule Name" is a mandatory parameter.

You have the ability to configure reset sequence numbers of the sessions bound with the current schedule:

  • you should check the "Reset sequence numbers on start" checkbox to reset sequence numbers when the sessions bound with the schedule start.


After you specified all details, you have the following options:

  • Save a schedule configuration by clicking the "OK" button.

If the schedule name is unique and at least one of the Start or Terminate Time parameters is specified, then the FIXICC H2 displays the schedules table including the changed schedule configuration.

In case the schedule name is not unique,

the FIXICC H2 displays the warning form with the message "Schedule with this name already exists".

When you click the "X" button,

the FIXICC H2 displays the initial page again to change the schedule name.

If the Schedule Name is empty, then the alert form is shown:

  • Cancel the operation by clicking the "Cancel" button.

Then the FIXICC H2 displays the schedules table without changes;

  • Leave the page. In case you edited the schedule parameters, the FIXICC H2 displays the warning form.

The FIXICC H2 offers the following options:

º Save the changes in the schedule configuration.

Then the FIXICC H2 displays the schedules table, including the changed schedule configuration.

Note: You should complete the schedule mandatory parameters to save changes in the schedule configuration, incomplete configuration can't be saved.

º Skip the changes by clicking the "Don't save" button.

The changes won't be added to the schedule configuration. The FIXICC H2 displays the schedules table without changes;

º Stay on the "Modify schedule " page by clicking the "Cancel" button.

The FIXICC H2 displays the "Modify schedule" page to continue the editing.


Removing the existing schedule

You have the ability to remove the selected schedule.

You should pass to the "Server Schedules" page.

To remove the existing schedule, you should select the schedule from the list and:

  • Click the "Remove" button in the panel (the "1" label in the figure above);
  • Or click the "Remove" context menu item (the "2" label in the figure above);
  • Or press the "Ctrl" + "Del" keys.

The FIXICC H2 displays the confirmation form.

Now you can:

  • Click the "Yes" button and finish the schedule removal.
  • The FIXICC H2 removes the selected schedule from the database and displays the "Server Schedule" page without a deleted schedule.

    All sessions connected with the removed schedule will start and stop with the server.

  • Or click the "No" button and cancel the schedule removal.

The FIXICC H2 closes the confirmation form and displays the "Server Schedule" page without changes.


Monitoring

Server Schedules

You should select the server from the list:

  • By clicking the server name in the left side menu (the "1" label in the figure below);
  • Or by clicking the "View" button on the "Servers" page (the "2" label in the figure below);
  • Or by double-clicking the selected server name on the "Servers" page.

To see the list of existing schedules you should pass to the "Server Schedules" page by clicking the "View Schedules" button.

The FIXICC H2 opens the "Server Schedules" page in a new tab.

You can see the configured schedules list.

Filtering

You have the ability to filter the schedules list by using the Default Filter (the "1" label in the figure above).

You can filter schedules by Name, Start Time, Terminate Time, Time Zone, or combination of them.

The default filter depends on the type of objects that are shown on the current page.

You can use Default Filter easily: you type or select a value in the Default Filter fields.

You should only move the focus from the completed field or press the "Enter" key to start a search.

To reset the search results:

  • You should click the "Clear" button (the "1" label in the figure above);
  • Or you can click the "Clear" context menu item.

Then you will see the full list of rows.

As well, you can use Extended Filter (the "2" label in the figure above) for searching schedules.

Extended Filter allows adding the custom search conditions.

To add a new search condition, you should:

  • Click the "Add search condition" button ("1" label in the figure above),
  • Then specify the parameter to search by (either select from the list or type the parameter name in the "Filter" field),
  • And confirm your choice by clicking the "Select" button.
  • Or you can cancel the operation by clicking the "Cancel" button.

Then you should select the operation type from the drop-down list according to the parameter type.

To start a search, you should click the "Refresh" button ("1" label in the figure below).

If you need to remove the filter condition, you should click the "x" symbol, and then you will see the full list of objects.

To reset the search results:

  • You should select the "<Reset Filter>" item from the drop-down menu in the "Refresh" button.

  • Or you can click the "Clear" context menu item.

You can save the created filter to use it in the future:

  1. When you add the list of conditions, you should click the button and select the saving option.
  2. You will see the saving form depending on the option you have chosen.
  3. Please add mandatory information to save the filter.
  4. Click the "OK" button to confirm changes.
  5. Or you can cancel the operation by clicking the "Cancel" button.

Schedule Details

You have the ability to see the dynamic state of the selected schedule.

You should click the selected schedule in the schedules table in the "Table view" layout part.

The FIXICC H2 opens the "Schedule Details" page in the "Object info" layout part.

To open the "Schedule Details" page in a new tab:

  • Click the "View in tab" button in the "Object info" layout part ("1" label in the figure above);
  • Or click the "View" button in the "Table view" layout part ("2" label in the figure above);
  • Or double click the selected schedule;
  • Or click the "View" context menu item ("3" label in the figure above);
  • Or click the "View sessions" button in the "Scheduler" section in the "New session" or "Modify session" pages.

You can see the following schedule information in the "Schedule Details":

  • The schedule parameters,
  • The list of sessions bound with the schedule. You can filter the sessions list by using Default or Extended filter.

The default filter depends on the type of objects that are shown on the current page.

You can use Default Filter easily: you type or select a value in the Default Filter fields.

You should only move the focus from the completed field or press the "Enter" key to start a search.

  • Or you can click the "Clear" context menu item.

Then you will see the full list of rows.

Additional menu (the "3" label in the figure above)

The additional menu contains the following schedule operations:

  • Create. When you click the item, the "New schedule" page is opened in a new tab;
  • Edit. When you click the item, the "Modify schedule" page is opened for the current schedule;
  • Remove. When you click the item, the confirmation form is shown for the current schedule.
  • No labels
