Notifications

Event monitoring

You have the ability to monitor servers' and sessions' events on the "Notifications" page.

You can obtain quick access to the list of notifications by clicking the "Notifications" item (the "1" label in the figure below) from the left side menu bar.

The FIXICC H2 displays the following list of events:

  • The server has been started;
  • The server is misbehaving;
  • The server has been stopped;
  • Session has been added;
  • Session has been deleted;
  • Session status change.

The list of notifications is updated in real-time.


Filtering

You have the ability to filter the notifications list by using the Default Filter (the "2" label in the figure above).

You can filter notifications by Date, Object, Event Source, or combination of them.

 Default Filter description

The default filter depends on the type of objects that are shown on the current page.

You can use Default Filter easily: you type or select a value in the Default Filter fields.

You should only move the focus from the completed field or press the "Enter" key to start a search.

To reset the search results:

  • You should click the "Clear" button (the "1" label in the figure above);
  • Or you can click the "Clear" context menu item.

Then you will see the full list of rows.

As well, you can use Extended Filter (the "3" label in the figure above) for searching notification information.

Extended Filter allows adding the custom search conditions.

To add a new search condition, you should:

  • Click the "Add search condition" button ("1" label in the figure above),
  • Then specify the parameter to search by (either select from the list or type the parameter name in the "Filter" field),
  • And confirm your choice by clicking the "Select" button.
  • Or you can cancel the operation by clicking the "Cancel" button.

Then you should select the operation type from the drop-down list according to the parameter type.

To start a search, you should click the "Refresh" button ("1" label in the figure below).

If you need to remove the filter condition, you should click the "x" symbol, and then you will see the full list of objects.

To reset the search results:

  • You should select the "<Reset Filter>" item from the drop-down menu in the "Refresh" button.

  • Or you can click the "Clear" context menu item.

You can save the created filter to use it in the future:

  1. When you add the list of conditions, you should click the button and select the saving option.
  2. You will see the saving form depending on the option you have chosen.
  3. Please add mandatory information to save the filter.
  4. Click the "OK" button to confirm changes.
  5. Or you can cancel the operation by clicking the "Cancel" button.

Passing to an Event Source

You have the ability to pass from the "Notifications" page to the "Session Dynamic State" page by clicking the session name in the Event Source column (the "5" label in the figure above).

Then the FIXICC H2 opens the "Session Dynamic State" page in a new tab.

As well, you can pass to the "Server Sessions" page by clicking the server name in the Event Source column (the "4" label in the figure above).

Compact view

You can monitor the servers' and sessions' notifications at the dynamic pages in the compact view.

In the notifications compact view, you can see the date and time when an event happened, the event description, and the name of the event source.

Filtering

You have the ability to filter the notifications list by using the Default Filter.

Notification Details

You have the ability to see further information about the selected notification.

You should click on the selected notification in the "Notifications" layout part.

The FIXICC H2 opens the "Notification Details" page in the "Object info" layout part.

You can open the "Notification Details" page by clicking the "View in tab" button in the "Object info".

As well, from the "Notifications" single page and "Notifications" layout part you can open the "Notification Details" in a new tab:

  • By clicking the "View" context menu item;
  • By double-clicking on the selected notification.
